Mini Donut Decorated Cookies | RECIPE


Preparing for the weekend, these mini donuts are perfect for that late cup of coffee of the day or for a tea party. It's the perfect bite to go along with either. And who can resist the cuteness of them? No one.

MINI DONUT DECORATED COOKIES

(15-20 cookies)

DOUGH: INGREDIENTS: 55g fine white sugar 1 large egg

1/4 baking soda

60g butter, melted 1 vanilla extract

100g flour 200g white chocolate vegetable oil, to taste (in spray version if possible) Sugar decorations, to taste

METHOD: 1. Pre-heat oven to 180ºc. 2. Mix sugar and eggs in a bowl. 3. Add melted butter and vanilla extract. Mix well. 4. Add flour and baking soda and combine. 5. Transfer to a piping bag. 6. Grease a silicone mini donut mold with baking spray or vegetable oil. 7. Cut tip off the piping bag and pipe into silicone mold the dough. Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely. Prepare a tray with a "grill tray" inside for the chocolate to drip into the tray without making a huge mess on your table top. 8. Melt white chocolate in a bain-marie. Pour chocolate over the cookies and decorate with sugar decorations. Set to dry. Note: As an alternative to step 8, dip cookies using a pair of forks, into the chocolate, decorate with decorations and set to dry on the tray.

Bolachas Mini Donuts Decorados (15-20 bolachas)

MASSA:

INGREDIENTES: 55g açúcar branco fino 1 ovo XL

1/4 c. chá bicarbonato de soda

60 g manteiga, derretida 1 c. chá extrato baunilha

100g farinha sem fermento 200g chocolate branco Decorações coloridos, q.b.

MÉTODO: 1. Pre-aquecer forno a 180 graus. 2. Misturar açúcar e ovo numa tigela. 3. Adicionar manteiga derretida e extrato de baunilha. Misturar bem. 4. Adicionar farinha e bicarbonato de sódio e misturar bem. 5. Transferir para um saco pasteleiro. 6. Untar uma forma de silicone de mini donuts com spray de óleo (comprase facilmente em supermercados maiores - usei a marca Fula). 7. Cortar ponta do saco pasteleiro e encher forma de donuts com a massa. Cozer no forno durante 10-12 minutos. Tire do forno e deixe as bolachas arrefecer por completo. Colocar uma grelha por cima dum tabuleiro e colocar bolachas na grelha para poder verter a cobertura por cima sem sujar tudo. 8. Derreter chocolate branco, e verter chocolate por cima das bolachas. Escoar. Decorar ao gosto e deixar o chocolate "secar." Nota: Como alternativa a passo 8, pode mergulhar cada bolacha, usando dois garfos, no chocolate, e de seguida colocar na grelha para decorar e depois "secar" completamente.
